We initially became interested in the AirCAT because of a research project that we were working on studying the effects of Gatorade on volleyball performance during a simulated match. This simulated match involved scoring a variety of hitting, passing, digging, jumping and blocking tasks in??? That it would happen during the course of an average match. The AirCAT provided the CONSISTENCY we required in order to make this protocol the same for each research participant across all trials.
